Summertime Festival

This summer, Musicon and Grote Markt Den Haag will bring you a unique festival in the city centre. The Summertime Festival will take place at the Grote Markt on three Sundays: 8, 15 and 22 August. 

Expect an incredibly diverse program full of world music, jazz, classical and modern music and even some laid-back (semi)acoustic pop music. The setting is an intimate ‘former-merry-go-round’-stage at the Grote Markt in The Hague. Summertime Festival showcases a beautiful but underexposed aspect of the city, namely the international music community that lives here. This network of icons, music students and graduates is the source of the diversity of styles and cultures within this year’s programme. The festival offers a stage to legends such as the Dutch Swing College Band and to young careers such as that of Tess Merlot.
