Minute value fluctuates

In October of this year, Sena first received a regular subsequent delivery of fingerprinted playlist lines of music year 2019. We also received additional backorders of music years 2017 and 2018. The good news is that more music minutes have been recognizes as a result. At the same time, this solved a number of pending comments. The subsequent deliveries also had another consequence, though.
The amounts available for distribution have to be divided over more music minutes, as a result of which the minute values of music year 2019 and earlier have decreased. Now that we have a better picture of the effects of the subsequent file deliveries, we can respond well to this in the future. A decrease of the minute value – should this occur again – will be more limited. Distributions for music year 2020 are also under pressure due to the COVID-19 crisis. For example, we have had to compensate the hotel and catering industry that was forced to close. Also, radio stations were hit hard in their advertising revenue. We regret the negative consequences that our right-holders are now experiencing.
