Enables festivals and music competitions
Each year, Sena Performers supports a number of social, cultural and educational projects, ranging from showcases, festivals and music competitions to funding for album recordings. Examples of recent social-cultural projects include the Sena Performers Talent Stages at the annual Liberation Festivals, the Sena Performers European Guitar Award, the Sena Performers Music Production Fund, the Sena Performers Dutch Jazz Competition and the Cello Biennale Amsterdam.
Sena’s Performers Section is particularly known for its social-cultural policy. The Section’s goals are to foster talent and promote a decent living wage for performers. In order to attain these goals, Sena Performers sets aside 3% of the payments collected on behalf of performers for social-cultural projects.
