Sena @ ADE
Sena will be attending the Amsterdam Dance Event from 21 to 23 October.
We will be based at the Andaz Hotel, where you can drop by throughout the day to ask any questions about your neighbouring rights. You can also schedule an appointment in advance by emailing servicedesk@sena.nl.
Every day, electronic music is played at festivals and events across the world. Yet many artists, performers and labels are still missing out on royalties they have already earned.
Panel: Don't Leave your Royalties on the Dancefloor
In this panel, artist Laura van Dam, a label representative, rights expert Dominique Franken (Sena) and moderator Jay Ahern (AFEM) explore how neighbouring rights work within the electronic music ecosystem and why money remains unclaimed.
Together, they follow the journey of a track from production to performance, showing how music usage is reported, how royalties are collected and distributed, and what artists and labels can do to make sure they receive what they are entitled to.
Expect practical insights, real-world examples and concrete actions you can take immediately to make sure your music works for you, both on and off the dancefloor.
Sena is the first neighbouring rights organisation in the world to partner with AFEM on raising awareness around neighbouring rights in electronic music.
